what to expect

Getting Started with Sistah Pause

  • Enter your name and email, then you'll be directed to our secure booking system to select your state and complete payment.

  • Within 1–2 business days, we'll send your custom lab order (100+ biomarkers) with instructions on where to get your blood drawn. Most insurance covers labs—or you can self-pay.

  • Once your results are in (usually 7-10 days), you'll complete a detailed intake form about your symptoms and health history.

  • We'll meet virtually to review your lab results in detail, walk through what your body is telling you, and create a personalized treatment plan—including nutrition, lifestyle support, supplements, and medication if needed.

  • Your prescribed medications and supplements will be shipped directly to your home. As a patient, you'll have continued access to follow-up care and adjustments as your body continues to change.

About Getting Started

You'll have your comprehensive lab results, a clear understanding of what's happening in your body, and a personalized roadmap you can take to any provider. That information alone is gold. Most women say the Discovery Session is the first time they truly understood what was wrong, even if they're not ready to start treatment yet.

  • During your Discovery Call, we'll review your lab results, discuss your symptoms and goals, and create a personalized care plan tailored to your needs. You'll leave with clarity, direction, and next steps to begin your wellness journey.

  • Your journey begins with a $697 Discovery Call, which includes a personalized lab requisition (75+ biomarkers) sent to your nearest lab, followed by a 1:1 results review where we map out your next steps.

    From there, you can choose from our tiered programs, designed to fit your goals and treatment needs.

    Sistah Pause™ is a cash-based practice with transparent pricing, and you can use your insurance for labs and medications when covered. We accept FSA/HSA cards and all major credit cards.

  • Sistah Pause™ is a cash-based practice, so we don't bill insurance directly. However, you can use your insurance for labs and medications when covered by your plan. If you prefer, self-pay options are also available for labs and prescriptions.

  • No, we don't. Our programs use a comprehensive lab protocol to uncover the root causes of your symptoms. Most standard panels miss key markers — we go deeper to get the full picture and create a plan that delivers real results.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 days before your appointment via your patient portal or email.

    Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a $75 fee; no-shows are charged $150. After two no-shows, the Discovery Call fee is forfeited.

    Once lab requisitions are sent, there are no refunds. All programs and services are final and non-refundable.
